A Volume alert means traded volume jumped sharply against the token's recent average.
Price and volume spikes are common on BNB Chain. Most fade within hours. Spider Gems keeps the Volume feed open to measure how many do not.
For Spider Gems, a fast chart can come from real demand or from a few wallets trading with themselves. Spider Gems uses Volume to find the move and the checks below to explain it.
Quick test: Divide 24-hour volume by liquidity. A very high ratio can mean churn between a few wallets. Check whether the move started before or after the first public call.
How we read a contract
Run these on every contract, in this order.
Step 1
Re-check the token an hour later; many setups change fast.
Step 2
Decide your exit before you enter, including the price where you are wrong.
Step 3
Confirm the token cannot be minted again or frozen in your wallet.
Step 4
Look for bundled launch buys: several wallets buying in the same block.
Step 5
Read the top ten holders and remove pools and burn addresses from the count.
